I have always felt a pull towards pregnancy and birth and babies. I have also always leaned into nurture and care, truly enjoying being with and helping others. Holding space for strong feelings and emotions, empathizing, seeing past the outer layers of a person and into who they are inside are a few things that come naturally to me. After journeying through pregnancy and birth with my own children, the call to birthwork became even louder. (Although I did not recognize it or know how to answer it quite yet!)

When I learned about the role of a Doula, so many dots connected and my heart sighed in relief. There are many intersections in this job--much complexity--and I find so much beauty in that. The journey of pregnancy and birth is sacred and utterly transformational. It is also messy and challenging. It requires the entirety of our body, minds, and spirits. It is my joy to help folks remember the truth that has been there all along: that everything they need has always existed inside of themselves.

On any given day you can likely find me walking to the park with my 4 magical kids, eating spicy chips with my lovely husband, or reading one of the twelve books I am usually in the middle of. : )

Being able to give families the invaluable gift of support at the beginning of such a profound season of life is wonderful. I am excited about the possibility of supporting you!
